FAQ

⭐ Frequently Asked Questions

How much horsehair do I need to send?

Please send horsehair that is at least 10 inches long and about as round as a Sharpie pen. This ensures there is enough hair to create a full, beautiful piece.

Can I use mane or tail hair?

Yes — you can send either mane or tail hair. Tail hair is typically thicker and more uniform, but both work beautifully depending on the look you prefer.

How long does it take to make my jewelry?

Your piece is handcrafted within 1 week of receiving your horsehair. Each item is made with care to ensure quality and durability.

Where do I send my horsehair?

After placing your order, you will receive an email with detailed instructions and the mailing address for sending your horsehair.

Can I send my order as a gift?

Yes! Your finished jewelry can be shipped directly to a recipient and is beautifully packaged for gifting.

Is horsehair jewelry a memorial keepsake?

Many customers choose horsehair jewelry as a way to honor and remember a beloved horse, but it is also a meaningful way to celebrate your current horse and the bond you share.

Will my horsehair be returned?

If you would like any unused horsehair returned, please include a note with your shipment and I will happily send it back with your finished piece.

Is each piece really handmade?

Yes — every piece is handcrafted by me in Oregon with care, attention to detail, and deep respect for the connection between horse and owner.

How do I care for my horsehair jewelry?

Avoid prolonged exposure to water, perfumes, and chemicals. Store your jewelry in a dry place when not wearing to keep it looking beautiful for years to come.
